Curriculum Description

The Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit (EHCP) training course is an eight-hour, in-person program approved by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security. The curriculum addresses handgun safety, operation, and the legal responsibilities associated with carrying a handgun in public. Class sizes are limited to ten participants, enabling instructors at Panzano Firearms to provide individualized attention and ensure a high-quality learning experience for each student.

Curriculum Description

 An all-encompassing introductory course is designed for novice shooters to gain understanding in the safe handling of firearms and learn best practices for safety. Additionally, the class provides a comprehensive summary of the essential dos and don'ts regarding firearms in Tennessee. 

The class does have a range portion where individuals will shoot at least 20 rounds of ammunition while being coached by the course instructor.

• How to safely handle a firearm - Load, unload and make a gun safe
• Techniques – grip, stance, trigger control, sight picture, and alignment
• Places you can carry a gun concealed, and places you can not

Curriculum Description

This course will highlight the many benefits when shooting with a Pistol Mounted Optics. Whether learning to shoot for sport, competition, self-defense, or skill development, leave this class with the knowledge and fundamental skills to make you successful with a pistol mounted optic.

• Precision at distance and speed up close
• Optic selection

Students will be provided with a Pistol Mounted Optics (PMO) firearm. Students are welcome to bring their own PMO firearm as well.

Curriculum Description

This classroom and live-fire AR-15 Fundamentals course is designed to educate responsible gun owners about the safe handling, proper maintenance, and effective utilization of AR-15-style rifles within the context of civilian home defense and personal safety.

The course will give students the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to build a solid foundation for owning and shooting the Modern Sporting Rifle of their choice. 

Course Agenda

• Overview of basic AR-15 nomenclature and function
• Take Down and maintenance procedures
• Accessorizing the AR-15
• How to safely and effectively operate an AR-15

Students will be provided with a AR-15 Style Rifle or may bring your own AR-15 style rifle.

All firearms need to be cleaned and maintained period.  Your gun will need to be maintained and cleaned often enough that its function remains 100% reliable.  We will show how to properly clean and maintain your firearm. 

In this class, you will review the following topics: 

•  When to Clean
•  Why Clean Your Own Gun?
•  The Basic Cleaning Kit
•  Cleaning Supplies

This class takes 2 hours consisting of hands on cleaning and maintenance. 

Each student will receive a Pistol Cleaning Kit to use during class and to take home afterword.
